Great news for the residents of Punjab! The Government of Punjab has officially updated the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Program, making it easier than ever for people to build, improve, or expand their homes.

Under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz Sharif, this scheme has been expanded to benefit a wider range of applicants.

📢 What’s New in the Updated Scheme?

Previously, this loan facility was only available for constructing new houses. Now, the scope has been increased significantly.

You can now apply if you:

✔ Already have a house
✔ Want to construct additional rooms
✔ Need home renovation or improvement
✔ Have multiple families living in one house and want separate portions

💰 Loan Details

The Punjab Government is offering interest-free loans for different housing needs:

  • 🏠 New House Construction
    → Up to Rs. 15 lakh
  • 🏢 Plot or Structure Completion
    → Up to Rs. 10 lakh
  • 🔧 Home Renovation / Improvement
    → Up to Rs. 5 lakh

📆 Repayment Duration: Up to 9 years in easy installments

📋 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this scheme, you must:

  • Be a resident of Punjab
  • Have a valid CNIC
  • Apply with only one request per family
  • Not be a defaulter of any previous loan
  • Provide necessary property or ownership details
